Terms & Conditions

The Bath House, Bath — Last updated May 2026

By completing a booking with The Bath House, you agree to these terms and conditions in full. Please read them carefully before confirming your reservation.

Cancellation Policy

A non-refundable deposit of 10% of the total booking value is charged upon cancellation at any time.

If cancelled within 7 days of the arrival date, the full booking amount is due.

We will endeavour to mitigate any charges by re-letting the room, however this is done on a best-efforts basis only.

We strongly recommend that guests hold appropriate travel insurance to cover cancellation due to illness, travel disruption or adverse weather events.

Card Authorisation

By completing your booking, you authorise The Bath House to store your payment card details securely via Stripe and to charge your card in accordance with this cancellation and no-show policy.

Your card details are encrypted and never stored on our servers. All payments are processed securely by Stripe.

No-Show Policy

In the event of a no-show (failure to arrive on the booked date without prior cancellation), the full booking amount will be charged to the card on file.

Cleaning

The Bath House should be left in a reasonable condition upon check-out. If, at the management's discretion, intensive cleaning is required to prepare the accommodation for the next guests, the cost of this cleaning will be charged as an additional fee based on costs incurred.

Smoking

The Bath House is strictly non-smoking in accordance with the law. We reserve the right to charge £50 (in addition to any general cleaning charges) if a smell of smoke is detected upon check-out.

Damages

The Bath House reserves the right to charge for any breakages or damage to fixtures and fittings beyond normal wear and tear. Guests will be notified of any such charges promptly after check-out.

Late Check-out

Standard check-out time is as specified at the time of booking. Unauthorised late check-out will be charged at £10 per 30 minutes to cover staff costs.

If you require a late check-out, please contact us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate your request, subject to availability.
